Acoustic Pipe Insulation
What heat does acoustic pink insulation withstand?
we are re insulating our basement and in doing so have come across the heating pipes and hot water pipes.. we can’t find anywhere where it says what heat this stuff will stand up to not even Owens Corning..so dont give me the website been there and done it
it will be o.k. for heating pipes and hot water pipes, but it does melt and burn at hot temperatures…if it’s hot enough to burn paper it’s hot enough to damage fiberglass.
